High Minnesota Caregivers, and Patients- We have developments!
This morning Flutessa Farms, and Myself, met with the Office of Cannabis Management and went over their registration process that they have developed since July 1, 2024 for the Minnesota Registered Designated Caregiver Program.
THERE IS NOT AN ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS AT THIS TIME- IF you have signed up to be a Patient's “Caregiver” on the State Website since July… You didn’t sign up for this program. That was CONFIRMED today.
Patients- You’ll need to initiate this process of designating, and registering your Canna Caregivers. This is YOUR program first, and foremost. Secondly, Caregivers, you’ll then need to accept your Patient’s “Invitation.” It sounds like it’ll be a smooth, unintrusive, process, between Patients and Caregivers. (Fingers Crossed, VERY little Government aka, Office of Medical Cannabis, oversight).
So, how does a Patient ASSIGN their Caregiver? Well, directly from the source, “Patients wishing to reassign their right to home cultivation to a Registered Designated Caregiver should contact the Division of Medical Cannabis by sending an email, HERE: medical.cannabis@state.mn.us
LASTLY, to clarify and keep this caption short (Graphics are cuuute)- IF a Registered Designated Caregiver is cultivating ON BEHALF of a Patient, the MAX NUMBER OF PLANTS IS SIXTEEN (16); Of the total plant count, EIGHT (8) May Be Mature, Flowering Plants.
